This is a holistic intervention used for reducing stress, anxiety, depression, and fatigue through the slow mindful movement of asana, while building a more resilient nervous system and increasing the body-mind connection, allowing for a deeper understanding and self- discovery.

Restore and rebalance offers the body and mind a chance to rest deeply, while practicing self-care enabling you to support a healthy you. It’s a chance to step away, unwind and unplug from the influences of external stimuli, which envelopes ours daily lives. This allows you some much needed quite time to rejuvenate the body. In this practice the body is fully supported with the use of props, facilitating, and allowing the body to open with ease and comfort, while stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system and activating the rest and digest response which allows for a peaceful and tranquil practice of healing.

This practice allows you to move in a gentle but freeing way, releasing stagnant energy within the body while boosting your mood and mental well-being.

We begin to connect to the body and mind through observation and mindfulness. This yoga class focuses on the fundamental yoga poses that make up a well-rounded yoga practice. Through detailed instructions students are guided on how to move safely and effectively when transitioning from one pose to another, using their breath as a way to keep them present and grounded. This style of yoga over time will help build strength and stamina as well as bringing forward flexibility. This class can be moderately vigorous, but students are always encouraged to listen to their bodies and rest if they need.

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced practice where poses are held for a length of time focusing on applying moderate stress to the connective tissues – tendons, fascia, and ligaments – with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. These poses are predominately mat based and this meditative approach to yoga helps cultivate awareness of one’s inner stillness.
